At Blood Lake, we're serious when it comes to scaring people. We belong to the International Association of Haunted Attractions (IAHA) because we want to continuously improve our skills, the quality of our customer’s experience and state of the haunt industry overall. If you love the art of scaring people in a safe, fun environment, then Blood Lake may be the place for you. We will soon be filling positions in our cast and crew: CASTAs a member of the Blood Lake cast, you won’t just be given a mask and told to stand in a corner and yell boo! Every one of our characters is a critical part of telling the Blood Lake story while delivering safe and effective scares. At Blood Lake, you’ll be given the chance to help develop the finer points of your character, and many actors will have the opportunity to play more than one character during the run of the show. At Blood Lake, we believe that short form haunt acting requires just as much skill and talent as any other form of acting. In fact, we believe that haunt acting is more challenging because the haunt actor has to deliver a scare and convey their character up close and personal to small groups of customers in a very brief period of time. In addition, the haunt actor is called on to deliver the same convincing, quality performance time and time again. If you have the physical stamina, energy and talent to convincingly deliver safe and effective scares, we want you on our team! We welcome both experienced and first-time haunters. Apply in person at one of our Boo Camps and see if Blood Lake is the right haunt for you! Cast members must be available for 1 training session, 2 rehearsal nights and a minimum of 10 performance nights out of 15. Cast consists of paid members and volunteers. You must be at least 16 years of age and eligible to work in the United States to be part of our cast. If you cannot attend a boo camp but are very interested in joining our cast, email us at casting@bloodlakeva.com to schedule an audition. CREWWe have several positions for individuals who wish to work behind the scenes at Blood Lake:
